The creation of Hypnos – rethinking breathing, sleep and performance
As athletes, we face the daily challenge of maintaining our physical and mental performance at a high level. However, there is an often underestimated yet essential foundation for success: restorative sleep and optimal breathing. Both influence not only our recovery, but also our concentration, resilience, and athletic performance.
For a long time, we ourselves struggled with sleep problems. Nights filled with restlessness, troubled breathing, and a lack of rest were increasingly taking their toll on our physical fitness, our focus, and our overall quality of life. We often felt exhausted, had difficulty concentrating, and realized we were no longer reaching our full potential.
In our search for a solution, we came across a simple yet effective tool: breathing strips. The idea that improved nasal breathing could lead to deeper sleep seemed simplistic at first – but after our initial self-experiments, we were surprised by how noticeable the positive effects were. Our sleep quality improved, our morning fatigue decreased, and we noticed a significant improvement in our performance not only at night but also during the day.
But our findings went beyond sleep. Conscious and unrestricted breathing plays a crucial role in our athletic performance. It improves oxygen uptake, increases endurance, and supports mental focus – essential factors for every athlete. We realized: If you optimize your breathing, you not only improve your sleep, but also your energy in everyday life and during training.
Hypnos was born from this experience. We wanted to not only help ourselves, but also offer others a way to take their sleep, their breathing, and thus their overall performance to the next level. Our goal is to raise awareness of the importance of breathing and provide people with a simple yet effective solution.
Today, we're proud that hypnosis is already helping many people—whether through more restful sleep, better concentration in everyday life, or increased performance in sports. Because true strength begins with proper breathing.
